When you buy a hat, what do you think? You think it looks good on you. And yes, you should buy it. But when you are out in battle, either doing a group raid on some fort, or even a simple swordfight with a friend, does it help you?
When ROBLOX (The free online children's and even adults' creative fun game) creates a hat, some of them probably have a little extra script in them, or maybe not.
One time, I (using my Roblox account, Lissitski) was swordfighting a few group friends of mine (if you are curious, they group is RSF). Now, I don't mean to brag, and I'm probably not the best swordfighter on Roblox, but I am quite the expert. I was also wearing a "Gentleman of Stratus" top hat, one of the many hats from ROBLOX. When I approached my opponent, and we started spinning around each other, clicking multiple times on our mouses. I was floating slightly and always jumping up, which made it easier for my opponent to finish me off. I even did it a second time and had the same result.
So, I changed my hat to the "WWII soldiers helmet." And remarkably, I didnt float or jump that time, but I beat my opponent easily, with the skill that I have. But that helmet also makes you float up a bit, but not too much, and in a special way, I suffered less injuries from my opponent's sword (I realised that it floated when I was raiding a group's fort). The "Electric Punk" hat also helps me swordfight better, but doesn't help when it comes to Glitching.
I was with my group, RSF, raiding the John's Cobras Recruitement Centre (John's Cobras is another group from Roblox). Now, there are several ways to get inside the fort (the recruitement centre is a fort). You could go through the code doors or glitch your way in by standing underneath one of the towers, holding the JC (short for John's Cobras) flag, jumping up and then flying off, and into the fort! But when I tried to do that with my Electric Punk hat, I couldnt do it! So, I switched to my WWII hat again. And it worked!
Conclusion: Whatever the Roblox hat is, they affect the way you fight and be sure to pick a good one for use in battle. Also, (a little info from a friend of mine), if you double click with the sword, you do a lunge, your arms go up and you jump up a little. Heavy hats stop you from doing that, so the reason could be that some of the hats i used were light. Comment if you have anything else to add.
